Today I share this interesting documentary that make you think.
It shows the dangers that an animal becomes fashionable because of a popular movie.
This is not unique to the marine aquarium, annually more than 20 million Neon Cardinal fish for export. It is important that programs and breeding farms of the most popular species as we know nature can not squeeze without consequences. Nor could we say that this problem is only the aquarium, everywhere we look we see cases like kings who kill elephants, forests and vast wilderness areas deforested by large multinationals, practical extraction of fuels such as fracking with the dangers, threads of plasticine drowning the Cantabrian coast, dumping of radioactive waste in seas around the world ...... and unfortunately the list could go on indefinitely. We can blame the aquarium all these problems obviously not.
But in the case before us if we have a responsibility and this is to be aware of species bought, its origin, the possibility of play etc etc.
It also becomes important to devote efforts to maintain species reproduce and reproduce after sharing those juveniles among other fans to avoid situations like that with many species.
I hope you enjoy the film and as I say let us reconsider our fans to focus with greater sustainability with the planet.
(Unfortunately I have not found the document in English. If anyone knows the exact name I appreciate you send it. The film is a French production.)
Gr3tings !!
